Since we started Dermy Doc Box, we have been talking about how exciting it will be to debut a summer box! As a dermatologist, the summer season is my busiest time to educate about the importance of developing sun-safe practices.

In this box, you'll…+ Figure out "which sunscreen should I use?” I just know there is at least one (if not 3) in here that you will add to your daily routine. + Learn how much is too much? We’re talking about product amounts + sun exposure recommendations. + Realize there is no healthy way to achieve a tan (besides a spray tan or from a bottle). Using a tanning bed for a base tan or tanning with sunscreen on is not healthy. Tanned skin is a result of DNA damage. + Get into the habit of applying sunscreen to your face daily, even on cloudy days. + Other ways besides sunscreen to protect your skin: clothing, supplements and oils. |
